We have been working closely over several months with Egan Drilling and @massenzadrillingrigs finalising the exact specifications of their new Mi55. Packing a massive 55-tonne pullback, a 20-inch casing advance table, and both flooded RC and dual rotary capabilities into a single package, it solves the usual industry headache.
Instead of working around the gap between dedicated dual rotary rigs and large-diameter water well setups which usually means deploying two separate rigs, this Mi55 handles both jobs on a single mobilization!
